Here at Woodborough Hall, we make it our mission to provide exceptional service to each and every customer. Since taking over the property in 2022, our team has worked tirelessly to bring new life to this property, transforming it from a once-underappreciated space into a premium restaurant, boutique hotel and events venue.
We’re thrilled to announce that this hard work has paid off, as we’ve been named as a finalist in not one, but four categories at the 2025 Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards!
These awards are:

- B&B and Guest House of the Year
- Team of the Year
What are the Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards?
The Nottingham Tourism Awards, formerly known as the STARS Awards, were set up to recognise all the brilliant local businesses boosting Nottingham’s tourism, leisure, culture and hospitality industries. The awards are designed to showcase the best of the best in our area and shine a spotlight on the outstanding venues and organisations that go the extra mile to put Nottinghamshire on the map.
How did we achieve this?
Since acquiring Woodborough Hall in 2022, we’ve put countless hours, funds and resources into establishing this Grade II* listed building as the go-to destination for dining, accommodation and events. The property has been carefully renovated to restore it to its former glory, while still ensuring a luxurious, modern feel.
Aside from the physical transformations, we’ve assembled a team of experienced hospitality professionals who go above and beyond to ensure a five-star experience. From offering a delicious, varied menu to hosting perfectly planned weddings and special events, we create lasting memories for every guest.

We couldn’t have achieved this without the support of our local and regional customers, and we’ve also had the pleasure of welcoming many tourists who are visiting the area. We really appreciate all the wonderful reviews we have received about the high standards of service and food and these nominations have made all the hard work worthwhile.”
